Funny, I was just reminiscing about this to folks on a local list. :^D
Vehicles: A Ford Expedition, a Chevy (something), a white courier pickup truck, and a 200-year-old man driving a Crown Vic backwards. Not all at once.
Weather: A tornado front. Hail and snow (in Wisconsin--that wasn't unusual).
Critters: A June bug in the middle of my faceplate at 80+--enough to make me see stars for a moment. A cute little bee who was too sturdy to be killed by the impact to my face shield, and then decided to squeeze between the edge of my face shield and mouthbar, into my helmet, for protection from the wind. Smart bug, bad choice.
Bodily matter: A chaw-hock from a passing pickup driver (he was about 90; I don't think it was intentional, and it hit my chaps leg, thank you god). A good-sized wad of still-soft Road Chevron (manure and straw tamped by a tractor tire into v-shapes) kicked up by a passing semi. A very large goose poop--to the sternum. Isn't leather wonderful?
